Yesterday, I attended an important discussion in Parliament about Essential Tremor, having this condition highlighted to me by a constituent.

Essential Tremor affects over 1 million people across the UK, yet it’s still widely misunderstood. Hearing directly from clinicians and patient advocates opened my eyes to how much it can impact independence, mental health, and the ability to work.

We need to do more, and that includes expanding access to proven treatments like MRgFUS. This is a vital next step in supporting those living with Essential Tremor.

I’ll continue to do what I can to raise awareness and push for the support that people with Essential Tremor deserve.
