Today I met with Air Rescue UK to learn more about their vital and life-saving work. I also had the chance to experience their one-of-a-kind simulator, which is recognised nationally as a key training resource. They are a truly impressive team dedicated to rapid response and emergency care.
I then met the Mayflower Medical Centre’s Patient Participation Group, who are developing a new community plan in line with guidance from the ICB. With upcoming changes to local health structures, they’re calling for the new ICB to contract out-of-hours service provisions to help ensure care remains local and accessible. A follow-up meeting is planned in the coming months and I will continue to provide updates when I can!
Thank you to both teams for the important work you’re doing!
