I had a busy but rewarding day today! I started with a trip to the market in Harwich—great to see the police patrolling and keeping things safe.
Then I had the privilege of leading an assembly at Mayflower Primary, where I answered lots of thoughtful questions from the children about being an MP and the roles of politicians. I was so impressed by how engaged and happy the children were!
Next, I headed to Bradfield to meet with residents and Anglian Water to discuss sewage issues—positive discussions there and we’ll be revisiting later this year for an update.
Lastly, I visited DC Williamson Fruit Farm to talk about the challenges fruit and vegetable growers are facing due to government policies. It's important to stay connected with our local farmers and listen to their concerns.
A day filled with great conversations and progress!
