As we approach World Sepsis Day this Saturday, 13th September, I was very pleased to show my support for the UK Sepsis Trust and the vital work they do in raising awareness about the early signs of sepsis.
Sepsis is more common than heart attacks and claims more lives than stroke. Common causes of sepsis include chest infections and UTIs, but any type of infection could lead to sepsis, such as a simple bite or sting.
If you're ever concerned about someone, even if you're not sure it's sepsis, it’s always best to 'Just Ask: could it be sepsis?' and seek medical help.
Let’s work together to spread awareness and protect our loved ones!
