Visited the Sentinel Gallery in Wivenhoe today for a deeply moving exhibition by Ukrainian artist Michael Velychko. His paintings are sent from Ukraine to Lorraine George and John Eborn.
The gallery, founded by Pip and Lorraine George, hosts two exhibitions a year to raise funds for Leukemia research and support, a cause close to their hearts following the loss of their son. In a sad and striking connection, Michael is also living with Leukemia.
This exhibition is a powerful reminder of how art can transcend borders, illness, and circumstance to connect us all.
The exhibition is on until Sunday, don’t miss it!
